CLUB MEMBERSHIP
WHO CAN BELONG
All Porter County boys & girls attending Kindergarten thru 12th grade can be members of the Boys & Girls Club.

THE COST
Membership fee is $25 per child ($20 at Duneland) and is good for one year.  Membership fee assistance is available based on need.  We also offer assistance for some programs which require fees, based on need.  Speak with the Membership Secretary or another staff person if you are in need of assistance with any fee. Membership fees are non-refundable.

GUEST POLICY
Guests are welcome to come for one free visit.  After their visit they must become members in order to participate.

OPEN DOOR POLICY
Boys & Girls Club of Porter County operate with an OPEN DOOR POLICY.  Although we have an Open Door Policy, we feel that it is important for members to be inside the building participating in our supervised programs and activities.  If we become aware that a member is repeatedly leaving and coming back into the building we may set limits and address the issue with parents.  Please help us by instructing your child to stay in the building until it is time to go home.  You may call or stop by anytime to make sure your child is at the Club. All program areas are also run with an open door policy.  Your child is free to join in any drop-in activities such as games room, open art, and open gym etc.  We also have designated activities offered at specific times and for specific ages.  Your child may wish to come to the Club at specific times for specific activities.  Once in an area, your child may choose their favorite activity.  The annual membership fee enables your child to participate in most of our activities except for athletic leagues, field trips and (occasionally) for special arts & crafts projects or classes that may require a small additional fee for supplies.

Please feel free to print out our Membership Form. You can then fill it out completely (one per child), and bring it to any of our three units for processing.
